Mottiv is a fitness technology company built by an endurance athlete, creator, and entrepreneur who deeply understands the needs of his audience. As the company prepared for Series A conversations, the challenge was not a lack of traction or vision — it was organizing a large amount of information into a clear, investor-ready story that highlighted product strength, growth, and long-term scale.

We worked closely with the founder across multiple iterations, helping transform early drafts into a cohesive Series A narrative. The goal was to clearly communicate what Mottiv is, why it works, and why it can become a large, defensible business — without overloading the deck or losing the emotional core of the product.

Structuring the Story

A key part of the work was shaping the overall structure. We refined the flow to move naturally from problem and vision into product differentiation, traction, business model, and scale opportunity. The founder’s unique background — as a top endurance athlete and one of the largest triathlon-focused creators in the world — was used strategically to establish credibility and founder–market fit, not as a personal story, but as a competitive advantage.

Design & Visual Language

From a design perspective, the focus was clarity and credibility. We created a clean, easy-to-read layout system with strong hierarchy and generous whitespace, allowing investors to quickly understand each slide. Brand assets were applied consistently across the deck to reinforce identity and professionalism.

Athlete and user photography played an important role. Real images from the Mottiv community were used to show that the product is live, loved, and actively used — helping the deck feel grounded in reality rather than hypothetical growth.

Highlighting Traction & Financials

Special attention was given to traction and financial slides. Metrics such as active users, retention, revenue, unit economics, and margins were designed to stand out clearly and be understood at a glance. Instead of dense charts, we used structured layouts and visual grouping to make performance and scalability obvious.

The Outcome

The final deck presents Mottiv as a focused, scalable business with strong founder–market fit, an engaged community, and clear economic logic. It balances emotional storytelling with analytical depth — helping investors understand not just the vision, but why Mottiv is positioned to win.

This project demonstrates how iterative collaboration, disciplined storytelling, and thoughtful design can elevate a founder-led company to a Series A–ready presentation.
